SKIK.

Skik gives guitar pop its own spoken voice. The lyrics stay close to everyday situations, with a sense of language that can juxtapose humor and melancholy. The band plays directly and lets melodies do their work without unnecessarily cluttering the songs. As a result, small observations find a place within music that moves along easily.

Niks Is Zoas ’t Lek offers an entry point into that combination of story and band feeling. Listening to Skik on vinyl allows the coherence between the songs to unfold quietly. A LP invites you to follow the less exuberant moments as well, where a simple guitar part and a well-placed phrase can hold your attention.

A rock LP also tells a story through the order of the songs. Give quiet passages just as much space as the bigger outbursts and follow the band's interplay. Among the available vinyl releases, you will find the format and design, so you can choose a suitable record.
