M83.

M83 uses synthesizers to make memories almost tangible; small melodies take on the scale of a film scene.

M83 creates music in which a pop melody can expand into an entire landscape. Synthesizers, echoing voices, and broad guitar layers give the songs a cinematic character, while beneath those grand gestures often lies a simple, vulnerable feeling. The project centered on Anthony Gonzalez moves between electronic pop, ambient, and the exuberance of a rock band. It is precisely this combination that makes it interesting to listen beyond the best-known individual tracks.

On Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, that world is given the space of a double album. Short transitions, delayed releases, and recurring sounds connect the songs. Like vinyl-LP, the album invites listening in chapters: each side has its own progression, without the larger story disappearing. Pay attention to the moments when a voice becomes part of the instrumentation, rather than solely carrying the lyrics.

A M83 record suits listeners seeking both a strong melody and an adventurous production. Check the available vinyl releases for the number of LPs and the specific edition. That physical version is included with the purchase; the Spotify link additionally provides access to the music and the structure of the album.
