ASHE.

Three albums spell her name. Ashe writes personal pop songs with room for a big chorus and found a second voice with FINNEAS in The Favors.

In the Ashe Story, you read how personal songs, melody, and harmonies come together. Ashlyn, Rae, and Willson each give her voice its own unique setting.

The Girl of Your Dreams is listed as a pre-order under SJELF. There are two existing vinyl editions; the product pages show the current release details and availability.

The stories about pop and folk offer various entry points into the relationship between voice, words, and arrangement. A grand chorus can emerge from a very small, told feeling.

Finneas is also connected to Ashe through their joint music. Billie Eilish positions the voice differently within a production. London Grammar, Coldplay, and Agnes Obel provide the selection below with additional timbres.

Listen first to the melody and then to the voices behind it. A second line can support a phrase, answer it, or conversely create uncertainty. That is where a personal song often acquires its broader meaning.
