SIMPLE MINDS.

Simple Minds makes rock in which rhythm and spatial sound play an important role. Bass lines, synthesizers, and guitar parts can together form a driving foundation, while the vocals open up the whole broadly. The songs often possess great gestural power, but also a palpable movement beneath the surface. That gives the band more color than just the chorus.

Once Upon a Time is a recognizable entry point into the repertoire. Discovering Simple Minds on vinyl also draws attention to the build-up between the tracks. A LP makes it possible to quietly follow the interplay between electronic textures and a playing rock band, with both the rhythms and the melodies in the foreground.

A rock LP also tells a story through the order of the songs. Give quiet passages just as much space as the bigger outbursts and follow the band's interplay. Among the available vinyl releases, you will find the format and design, so you can choose a suitable record.
