NITS.

Nits creates pop music in which a small image can open up an entire world. Henk Hofstede's vocals and lyrics give the songs a unique perspective, while the instruments often respond with subtle gestures. The music can be immediately melodic but also leaves room for rhythmic surprises and unexpected timbres. As a result, the group is recognizable without needing a single fixed formula. A quiet passage can be just as defining as the catchy chorus.

Ting offers a particularly clear entry point into that interplay. The arrangements leave space around the melodies and make the relationships between vocals, keyboards, and rhythm clearly audible. Anyone listening to the album in its entirety will notice how the songs complement each other in atmosphere. On vinyl, those transitions find a natural place. This involves not only a well-known track, but also the smaller songs and details that define the character of the entire LP.

Nits on vinyl fits into a collection featuring melodic, quirky pop and attention to arrangement. Listen to the way an instrument adds just a few notes and thereby changes the direction of a song. The SJELF-product page shows the available physical release of Ting, including the mentioned colored pressing. The confirmed Spotify link offers the album as the first listening route. For the LP format, release, and current availability, the product page remains the concrete source of information.
