THE ARTIST.

JUNGLE.

You often recognize Jungle before you know who is singing. A voice that blends with other voices, a bassline that sets the room in motion, and dancers who make the music visible. Behind that immediate feeling lies a special idea about what a band can be.

BEHIND THE RECORDS.

THE ARTIST.

Jungle is the British band centered around Josh Lloyd-Watson, Tom McFarland, and Lydia Kitto. The project began in London in 2013 and combines funk, soul, and disco with a working method in which original recordings can also serve as sample material.

The debut Jungle was released in 2014 by XL Recordings, featuring Busy Earnin’, The Heat, and Time. For Ever followed in 2018, Loving in Stereo in 2021, and Volcano in 2023. Back on 74 became one of the most recognizable entry points to the combination of music and choreography.

In 2024, Jungle won the BRIT Award for Group of the Year. The live band, vocalists, and dancers give the music different faces; the production holds the collective identity together.

Sunshine was released on August 14, 2026, as the fifth studio album. Lydia Kitto is officially part of the trio and holds songwriting and production credits in addition to vocals. The eleven tracks are bundled with SJELF on black LP, colored LP, and CD.

Parcels is a related route via interplay and funk; Khruangbin via guitar, bass, drums, and spatial grooves. The similarities offer an entry point, while each group retains its own sound and approach.
